Sourcefire VRT Rules Update

Synopsis:

This release contains a fix for a problem that prevented the rules for MS08-040 from being loaded correctly.

Details:

Microsoft Security Advisory (MS08-040):
Microsoft SQL Server contains multiple vulnerabilities that may allow remote attackers to escalate their level of privilege on affected systems.

Rules to detect attacks targeting this vulnerability are included in this release and are identified with GID 3, SIDs 13888 through 13892.
